Myriad Trials will generate a UK-wide network that will bring children with rare genetic disorders together with hospitals, patient organisations, charities and researchers to foster opportunities for clinical trial participation. This association will, in turn, drive knowledge of rare conditions and lead to improved healthcare and medical management.  With our extensive patient-centred experience, we are sensitive and compassionate to the needs of individuals and their families who are impacted by these conditions. We wish to see equity of access to innovative treatments across all rare conditions and will build a registry network to achieve this goal.

At Myriad Trials, we pride ourselves on our ability to expedite the trial set-up process, ensuring the ‘first-patient-in’ milestone is achieved quickly and effectively. We can swiftly and efficiently identify relevant Principal Investigators (PIs) with expertise in rare conditions and established patient cohorts to set up trials across a portfolio of sites.

With our bespoke research management IT platform, we will support Good Clinical Practice in conducting trial activities and maintain immediate readiness for regulatory audits, instilling confidence in our collaborators. We can support studies using innovative treatments, as well as drug repurposing and validation of tools and devices in the trial setting. We can also help with the adoption of post-marketing approval into clinical practice.

Myriad Trials can help PIs conduct clinical trials by providing the support required for effective, streamlined trial setup and conduct. While NHS institutions and universities are experiencing delays and limitations in running trials, we can oversee the process efficiently and with agility. Our extensive portfolio allows us to match suitable locations with appropriate facilities with capacity that have expert PIs and patient cohorts, allowing us to negotiate clinical trial agreements with sponsors.

Furthermore, we can actively support PIs through the complex clinical trial process, from set up to completion, helping them to lead high-quality research every step of the way. We work collaboratively and ensure all academic accolades and research credits remain with the PI and their institution.

At Myriad Trials, we are working to create an interactive platform that unites existing registries with wider networks to release their potential and identify trial opportunities for their contributors. This collaboration will afford the leverage required to harness data and combine lived experience to guide future research with patient-led outcomes. Our ultimate aim is to connect children and researchers to enable trials to be conducted swiftly and treatments to be approved earlier. We will collaborate with multiple stakeholders in this area to achieve this goal.
